  • Nope! You can bare a little, a lot, or nothing at all. It’s all up to you.

  • Sessions occur in my studio at 36 Waverly Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205, or on-location (outdoors, in hotels, coffee shops, parks, etc.). I have a portable dressing room if you need to change clothes during an outdoor shoot. I usually scout out nearby restrooms where my clients can change clothes.

  •  It’s because it’s custom. I take the time to get to know each of my clients to create a photo session and experience that is uniquely theirs. Pre-session consultations, location, lighting, makeup application, and retouching of each image are made to reveal your true essence so that you look and feel your best. Most importantly, ensuring that you look like you!

  • Yes, of course, your photos will be edited. They will not be overly edited. I’m in the business of celebrating people, not making plastic people.

  •  Digital images are the most valuable and versatile purchase. Each client receives a print release, which allows you to make prints. You can print the images as many times as you want and make photobooks, albums, and wall art. The print release you receive allows you to make those products yourself. Therefore, the high-resolution files are priced accordingly.

  • You can print high-resolution images. Low Res images are not ideal for printing. However, they are perfect for display online, such as on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

  • Immediately to ensure that you receive your desired date. My calendar is usually booked 1-2 months in advance.

  •  An awesome experience! Your custom photo session will be fun, exciting, and relaxed. I will tell you what to do with your hands and guide you into poses.

  •  During your pre-session consultation, we discuss the purpose, vision, and themes for your shoot. We go over outfit choices from head to toe. Once we have decided on everything, we then move on to finding a location that compliments you and your shoot

  • After our pre-session consultation, I will send you a guide with tips on what to wear and a checklist of items you should bring to the shoot. I also work with a bevy of fabulous professional fashion stylists, makeup artists, and hair stylists and would be happy to refer you to one should you need one. 

  • Total time in-studio means the total time you have in the studio to complete the shoot. This includes time for makeup, hair, changing of clothes, etc.

  • We have a blast at every shoot. We aim to keep the fun flowing in an organized and timely manner. You will be informed when your shoot is coming to a close. If the studio can accommodate the time overage, additional payment will be required for the extra time. Starting at $750 for 30 - 60 mins.

  •  A non-refundable retainer is due when booking to secure your date.  Your date will not be reserved until the retainer is paid. The remaining session fee balance must be paid on or before your session date. If you pay the remaining balance on your session date, it must be paid upon your arrival. No shooting, styling, makeup application, etc., will occur if your full session fee is not paid.  Once the retainer is paid no other client can reserve your date or time slot, therefore retainers are non-refundable if a client pays the retainer and needs to reschedule. The retainer is valid for one year from the original booking date. All retainers not redeemed within one year will be null and void. 

  • Cash, bank-certified checks, Zelle, credit/debit cards

  • If you need to cancel your session, please notify me 48 hours before your scheduled session date. All clients who inform me within 48 hours of their session will immediately be rescheduled for the next available date. Your retainer will roll over to the new date, and the remaining shoot balance will be due to secure the new date. However, you are only allowed to postpone your session date one time. If your session is delayed more than two times, an additional $500.00 will be applied to your remaining balance. If your postponement is due to inclement weather, you will not penalized and will not incur any additional fees other than the remaining session fee balance.

  • Please arrive on time for your session dressed and ready to shoot.  Please note that an allotted time for your shoot is specifically for you. If you arrive late to your session, your shooting time will start at the time of your arrival and will not be extended.

  • It is limited to those being photographed. No more than one additional person will be allowed at the photo session unless its parents accompanying a minor. Having other people present who are not being photographed can be distracting to both the photographer and those being photographed. Cameras of any kind are not permitted at your photo session. 

  •  All orders must be placed during the gallery reveal/ordering session. All payments must be made upon receipt of the invoice.

  •   Digital images included in the portrait session packages are high-resolution images unless otherwise stated. Images included with event photography prices are low-resolution images. Unless otherwise stated. If you would like to purchase high-resolution images of your event. High res images may be purchased from the a la carte menu for an additional fee.

  • You will be given the option to reschedule your session before the date/start time. If you decide to proceed with your shoot in inclement weather and the weather cuts your shoot short. Your session time will not be extended, and a reshoot will not be permitted.

  • All images/products created and provided by Nicole Mondestin Photography, whether print or digital, may not be reproduced by any means. Scanning or reproducing purchased images without Nicole Mondestin Photography's consent constitutes copyright infringement and is punishable by law. Nicole Mondestin Photography is the only entity allowed to print and reproduce your images unless otherwise stated.

  • Your safety, as well as the safety of my staff, is of the utmost importance. Because of COVID-19, shoots are limited to the people being photographed. No additional guests will be permitted. A chaperone or guardian will be allowed unless the subject is a minor. Any other guest will be asked to leave.

    The studio is cleaned and sanitized Before and after EVERY shoot.

    Regular handwashing and sanitizing

    Mask and face shields are worn by staff.

    Air purifier/filter on premises

    Sessions are not only limited due to COVID-19 but they are not staggered.

    All props, accessories, wardrobe, fabrics, drapes, chairs, etc., are cleaned and sanitized BEFORE and After every session.

    ALL CLIENTS ARE TEMPERATURE-CHECKED PRIOR TO ENTERING THE STUDIO.

    ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WASH AND SANITIZE THEIR HANDS UPON ENTERING THE STUDIO.

    ALL BELONGINGS WILL BE SANITIZED UPON ENTERING THE STUDIO.

    If you have booked a shoot and are experiencing any of the following symptoms

    Muscle Pain

    Fever or Cough

    New loss of taste or smell

    Trouble Breathing

    Chills or Repeated Shaking with chills

    Shortness of Breath and or difficulty breathing

    If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please seek medical attention immediately. If you have a shoot booked and are experiencing any of these symptoms. Please stay home and call me to reschedule your shoot. Your non-refundable retainer will be applied to a new date.

  • For the mini session, usually one, maybe two, time permitting.

    For the classic session, two, maybe three, time permitting.
