Hello! Nicole here; I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years and have worked professionally for over 11 years. Originally, I was on the path to becoming a lawyer, but that path changed when I picked up the camera. I’m self-taught, and with the help of workshops, mentors, and great photog friends, I’ve built my business from my living room to two studios in Brooklyn, NY. Although my business is thriving now, it wasn’t always that way. There were times when I didn’t know the next steps to reach my goal or had an idea of the steps but didn’t know how to put them to reach my goal. I also suffered from consumption. I inhaled online courses and workshops and didn’t know how to apply the skills in the real world or incorporate them into my style and business. I attended in-person workshops where the instructors focused more on building your portfolio than your skills. I slowed down, found a great mentor, and honed my craft.
